Tamarly Capital
Early capital for AI built for regulated industries.
Tamarly Capital is an AI-native venture firm co-led by Melvine Manchau and Triet Leminh, investing at pre-seed to Series A in legal AI, financial services AI and regulated enterprise software.
What does Tamarly Capital invest in?
Tamarly Capital writes early checks, from pre-seed to Series A, into companies that sell AI to regulated buyers: law firms, banks, asset managers, insurers and the software they run on. It also looks at defense and space software, compute infrastructure and AI agents where the buyer is regulated.
What view of the future drives the thesis?
Tamarly Capital starts from slow forces that show up in startups years before they show up in markets. It backs companies that sit on one of them.
- Technology as a geopolitical asset. Sovereign cloud, models and space used as instruments of state power, and firms shut out of state mandates and European contracts.
- Reshoring. Manufacturing moving back from China and Southeast Asia, and the software that new plants need.
- Generational change. How Gen Z and Gen Alpha socialize, shop, borrow, rent, learn and form households, with screens and loneliness in the picture.
- Distributed work. Remote and hybrid work creating security and compliance needs that old perimeters never covered.
